Benign Enterprise Co., Ltd., established in 1976, is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of machine tools and accessories, pneumatic tools, woodworking machines, and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) components.

The company currently focuses on exporting products to the global marketplace. Major export items include CNC and conventional lathes, milling machines, vertical machining centers, grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, centerless, tool & clutter), vertical and horizontal sawing machines, drilling machines (bench, floor, radial), DIY and industrial-use woodworking machines, machine-tool accessories, OEM components (stamping, plastic injection, aluminum extrusion, casting, etc.), and OEM products (air compressor).

Benign boasts its "Bemato" brand is well-established in many industrialized marketplaces the world over. At present, European nations take up 45% of the company's output, North America 30%, Latin America 13%, Australia and New Zealand 7%, and Asia 5%.

Since its inception, the company has paid great attention to introducing high-quality products which have to pass stringent quality-control procedures. Thanks to its concentration on high-quality products, the company saw annual sales grow at least 30% in each of the past three years. (BS)
