King Tony Tools Co., Ltd was co-founded by Charles Lai and Tony Lin in 1976. In the early stage of its founding, the company concentrated on DIY (do-it-yourself) tools through a hot-forge factory.

Realizing the increased need for professional tools and the intense competition among the manufacturers of DIY tools, in 1984 the company transformed itself to focus on high-quality professional tools by creating the "King Tony" brand which is now renowned in the global hand-tool arena.

At present, the company is capable of developing and producing a wide range of hand tools, including sockets, pliers, impact screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, open-end wrenches, box (offset/oval/S-shape) wrenches, hex-key wrenches, offset ring wrenches, car repair tools, engine tools, among others.

Quality and standards have been King Tony's first concern while rolling out professional hand tools. Today, all King Tony's products meet the DIN of Germany and ANSI of the U.S. standards.

The company boasts that its hand tools embrace a 30% higher torque than that of the DIN standards. In addition, its impact socket has a 50% higher torque standard than the DIN's.
