Mytools Enterprise Co., Ltd., established in 1987, is one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of a wide range of hand tools, especially noted for its high-end pliers for professional use. The ISO9000-certified company sells some of its products under its "HyperClaw" brand.

Since its establishment, the firm's in-house R&D team has concentrated on the development of high-end pliers. "HyperClaw" pliers are certified under the ANSI, GS, ESD, and VDE international standards.

The company has a production facility of 2,500 square meters in Taiping City of Taichung County, central Taiwan. The plant's 40-strong workers can turn out 120,000 pliers per month.

Mytools says its integrated production facility covers the processes of material handling, forging, annealing, milling, quality control, heat treatment, high-frequency hardening, tempering, polishing, surface finishing, packaging, and delivery.

The company mainly exports products on an OEM and ODM (original equipment/design manufacturer) basis. Most products are exported to large brands and distributors in the hand-tool industry.

Mytools says its professional pliers are equipped with handles that are made of a combination of soft, elastic and impact-resistant plastics. The pliers are hardened, and cutting edges and gripping teeth are tempered with a high-frequency induction procedure.
