Fire-fighting, water and trash pumps

Mow-Lin Electric Co., Ltd., a specialized maker of generators and pumps, is scheduled to launch a new fire fighting pump around the year-end or early 2013, to target a maximum suction lift (vertical distance from lowest suction point to centerline of pump impeller) of 90 meters, compared to the 72 meters of its largest fire fighting pump currently.

The fire fighting pump, usually part of water sprinkler system, is one of the best sellers for Mow-Lin, a major fire fighting pump maker in Taiwan who sees steadily growing market share in Australia, where fire fighting pumps are essential for forest fire fighters.

Mow-Lin began making pumps about 15 years ago and supplies a wide range of water, trash, plastic pumps among others, all powered by Honda engines or other world renowned brands.

First established in 1978 as a specialized alternator maker, Mow-Lin later applied its experience to make various generators. As the only portable generator exporter in Taiwan, Mow-Lin also fills OEM orders and custom makes engines. (MH)
