The Events Held in JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2008 were Decided "HOMECENTER TRADE Ⅱ," as an yearly popular event, is a project offering to make a business talk directly between exhibit companies and retailers. With free interpretation of English, Chinese and so on, this event received favourable receptions from oversea exhibit companies is highlighted in the show shifted its stance to a business show. In "Living Information Land" supporting your businesses, "DIY New Product and Hit Product Competition," in which exhibit companies give a 15 minutes presentation to appeal their products, and "Industrial Trend Corner," where are exhibited products concerning environment and Ecology, are set up. Concerning business supports, "Fee-based Consultation Room" (equipped with internet access, Copiers and Fax) are set up in two places in the venue to do businesses with visitors. As for participatory events, "Satellite Park" and "DIY Craft Corner" are set up. Supported by Japanese Federation of Wood-Industry Association, Japan D.I.Y. Club and the entertainer Kuniaki Shimizu, varied events such as "Forum of Enjoying Japanese Trees," "Parents and Children Woodworking Class" and "Creation of Children`s Forest" are set up. In "Parents and Children Woodworking Class" participated by many children every year, interesting works should be made by them in this year too.
