Panel Innolux and AUO Strive for Success

AUO said that in the third quarter, it will launch 32-inch and 27-inch Mini LED display panels to meet the needs of content editors, e-sports players and other groups for high-end products.

AUO Mini LEDs will be shipped from the end of 2018. This year's gaming laptop panels will keep up, making the Mini LED product line more complete. The 32-inch and 27-inch products have been developed with customers, and plans to gradually advance from the field of information technology (IT) to vehicles.

AUO is optimistic about the large scale of the automotive market and is actively sprinting for Micro LED technology. This year, the US Consumer Electronics Show (CES) launched an upgraded version of the Micro LED car panel, so it joined hands with Chuangchuang to develop a 9.4-inch flexible Micro LED panel.

Innolux cooperated with Yuantai to expand into the large-size ACeP full-color e-paper market, complete the 28-inch full-color e-paper kanban application, plan mass production and shipment by the end of this year, and enter the advertising kanban and retail display kanban markets in the car.

Innolux is Yuantai's only open-source large-scale full-color electronic paper module cooperative manufacturer. Innolux manufactures modules and ships them to clients to jointly seize business opportunities.

Innolux pointed out that in response to the global 5G and AI development trends, panel applications tend to be diversified. Electronic paper uses ultra-low power consumption, continuous display without power consumption, paper-like texture, reflective display technology using environmental light sources without self-illumination, etc. It can become the best display interface for the Internet of Things and smart cities.
