Intype Enterprise Co., Ltd.

Co-extrusion machines, PVC profile extrusion machines, plastic bag making machines, inflation tubular film-making machines, recycling and pelletizing machines

2015/03/13 | By Steve Chuang | INTYPE ENTERPRISE CO., LTD.

Founded in 1963 in Taiwan’s southern metropolis of Tainan and home to a sizable cluster of plastic processing machine suppliers, Intype Enterprise Co., Ltd., a seasoned supplier of its kind, has just worked out its cutting-edge model, CellWood Extruder, to produce materials and supplies for furniture, homebuilding, gardens, etc.

Developed jointly with Taiwan-based Microcell Composite Company, a top-end supplier of TPE foaming materials and pellets, this machine is designed with the unique melting and high-pressure foaming technologies, and uses only TPE to turn out Cellwood boards and profiles with fine foam structure, woodgrain on surface, solid colors and high structural strength.

Extruded boards and profiles also feature other desirable physical characteristics, such as lightweight, full waterproof protection, excellent resistance to deformation caused by ambient temperature and humidity, and hardier exterior than those of natural timber. Containing no wood powder nor dust, as well as toxic materials and PVC, the boards and profiles are fully recyclable and durable to last up to 10 years.

Another value-added feature of products from the machine, the company stresses, is that Cellwood is of high-molecular natural polymer of carbon and hydrogen, hence an excellent fire retardant with superior electrical insulation, waterproofness and antibacterial properties, generating no dioxin even when combusted.

A high-end thermal plastic, Cellwood is easy to process and deform-resistant, therefore increasingly applied worldwide as building material and in furniture production as a better alternative to natural wood, being suitable for use from -30 to 90 degrees Celsius, Intype indicates.

With over 50 years of experience, Intype has focused on developing and making profile and tubular-profile extruders, pelletizers and extrusion units for bag-making equipment, having sold products to over 60 countries to be known as a world-caliber supplier. Its success is built partly on the veteran maker’s commitment to continuous improvements of technology and machines, and partly on long-lasting partnerships with its Japanese counterparts on developing extrusion machines for bioplastics, such as PLA and STARCH, as well as high-end models developed with supercritical fluid extrusion technologies, some of which are patented worldwide.
