Anova Lighting to Release New Series of COB LED Luminaires at HK Intl’ Fair
2013/10/04 | By Ken Liu | ANOVA LIGHTING CO., LTD.Anova Lighting Co., Ltd. will release a new series of LED luminaires utilizing chip-on-board (COB) technology at the autumn edition of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair 2013, which will take place on Oct. 27-30.
The new products will include downlights, under-cabinet lights, wall lamps, and ground lights, all containing COB LEDs from Citizen, Sharp, and Bridgelux.
COB LED light engines boast many advantages, including low thermal resistance, high thermal conductivity, steady light output, friendly optical characteristics, and high color consistency after long serving times.
The light source is the heart of a luminaire. Over the past 100 years light sources have evolved from incandescent bulbs to halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge lamps, and LED lamps.
Established in 2003, Anova Lighting celebrated its 10th anniversary in Sept. 2013. The company has built up an abundance of design know-how over the past decade, allowing it to provide innovative, professional products that meet the needs of its customers.
The company’s lamps are made of a variety of materials, including die-casting aluminum and Zamac (an alloy based on zinc with elements of aluminum, magnesium, and copper), extrusion aluminum, die-casting stainless steel, press steel, copper, and brass. The products are finished with various techniques, including powder painting, electric painting, galvanizing, and anodizing.
The company has won over 20 patents for luminaires and 50 or so product certifications from SGS and Intertek Labs. Its latest products will be on show in booths 3E-E31 and E33 at the Hong Kong Lighting Fair. (KL)
