With 35 years of experience in automotive lighting, the firm recently developed a trend-setting product, the 7-inch BI-LED lamp module that enable designers more freedom to build new and original LED series lamps.

According to Giantlight, the GL-180 7-inch (177mm) BI-LED headlamp is built with OSRAM's latest LED technology to automotive standards, making it one of the brightest headlights on the market. The innovative shock- and vibration-proof design, coupled with the use of a standard fixture for conventional 7-inch sealed beam headlights in compliance with PAR56, can greatly enhance the lamp's durability (with proven operating lifetime of over 30,000 hours). Tested for 480 hours in salt-water spray, the lamp is fully waterproof as required by the IP6K9K standards, and is certified by EMC, ECE and SAE/DOT. The cutting-edge product will be available starting in the first quarter of 2013 and suitable for various vehicles, Giantlight says.
