The ISO 9001:2008-approved Herng Shan Electronics Co., Ltd. is a veteran company with strong R&D capability in automotive electronics.

The company was founded in 1971 and started manufacturing traffic lights. Then it began supplying various kinds of military telecom equipment to the defense industry. In 1992, Herng Shan started developing a series of electrical control system products both for automotive and motorcycle applications thanks to its strong design, development and manufacturing capabilities. The quality and durability of Herng Shan's products attracted the attention of major auto and powered two-wheeler (PTW) manufacturers in Taiwan and made it become an original equipment (OE) parts supplier to different vehicle manufacturers.

Herng Shan became involved in product and technical development for BLDC (Brushless DC) motor drives in 2000 and has become a major supplier of such products to recreational electric vehicles (EVs) and remote-control models.

In 2009, Herng Shan's first automotive cooling-fan controller model was introduced into the global market, thanks to the company's long-term accumulated capability in BLDC motor drive. It has also been diversifying its product lines into other fields such as brushed ESC, brushless ESC, sensor brushless motor, brushless ESC programming card, Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) systems, voltage regulator, ignition coil and relay.

According to the company, it manufactures quality products for its customers globally mainly as an original design manufacturer (ODM). All of Herng Shan's design, development, manufacturing and inspection/testing processes are conducted in-house to assure the highest quality and reliability.

Herng Shan is confident about the future of the automotive cooling-fan controller market since this controller can effectively upgrade a vehicle's fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

Currently, the company operates a factory in southern Taiwan equipped with advanced, self-developed production equipment featuring high production efficiency.
