2013/06/11 | By Quincy Liang | A-BELT-LIN INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.Established in 1992, A-Belt-Lin Industrial Co. has developed into one of the largest, most experienced safety-belt manufacturers in Taiwan, marketing high-quality, durable, and reliable products under the "Abelt" brand, with other renowned makers selling the same quality products as OE or original equipment or original design OD items.
A-Belt-Lin’s high quality is indicated by being certified to meet safety standards including FMVSS209/302, FIA, SFI, E Mark, CE, CNS etc.
With strong R&D and in-house manufacturing, the company offers a wide product range including racing safety belts, safety belts, buckles and tongues, industrial safety belt, tie downs, hardware, lift slings, round slings, pads, plastic parts, tow-rope straps, racing harness, car accessories, full-body harness, and many others, claiming to produce in-house all key parts with web-weaving, web-dyeing, molding, plastic injection, and metal stamping machines.
A-Belt-Lin claims to produce various high-end racing safety belts, all which are FIA and SFI certified. The industrial safety belts and ropes including full-body harness are typically used to protect workers from accidental falls. All products are CE-approved, with the seat belts and buckles meeting FMVSS209, FMVSS302, and CNS standards.
The company supplies seat belts (including racing belts) to automotive seat makers and performance parts distributors, especially in Europe and the United States (which together account for 70% of revenues), as well as tow ropes, clinical-use belts, tie-downs, lift slings and others, with most of the webbing made of high-end polyester and nylon yarns.
The company has set up efficient division-of-labor between Taiwan and China, with a Taiwan facility housing a 20-person R&D division and the production of high-end items, and a 100-worker factory in Guangdong Province, China turning out big-volume, popularly priced products. To meet rising global demand despite the financial turmoils, A-Belt-Lin set up a new factory in Taiwan last year to raise the production on the island by 30% to 50%.
