Kamioka started out with machinery components production and parts machining in 1965, having accumulated over four decades of experience in machinery operation and quality assurance on machinery construction, machining accuracy and efficiency.

In 2010 Kamioka debuted a brand-new machining center with semi-gantry portal-type machinery construction which goes beyond the limitations on typical moving-column, moving bridge and moving table machinery design.

Inspired from semi-gantry crane, this brand-new portal-type vertical machining center features genuine semi-gantry construction (patented) on X, Y and Z-axis travel. The integrated one-piece of L-shape base with its axle overhangs allows the least floor space machine occupation, best accessibility and control of machining processes.
