Handy dual-purpose LED grow lights

Leiderkerk International Co., Ltd. is promoting a handy dual-purpose LED grow light, weighing 7.6 kilograms in gross and 6.0 kilo in net, and measuring 73 centimeters in length, 48 centimeters in width and 78 centimeters in height.

The light's major elements are an 18W E26/E27 LED bulb, a hydro-culture sink, and a polypropylene box equipped with six sliding mosquito-net windows, all made in Taiwan.

The bulb gives off red light in wavelength ranging from 650nm to 670nm and blue light ranging from 450nm to 460nm, making it suitable for leaf vegetables. The lamp comes with warranty assuring a lifetime of two years or 20,000-30,000 hours.

This box can double as an insect cultivation chamber by replacing a 60W compact fluorescent lamp for the LED lamp.

Working temperature for the set ranges from minus 20 degree Celsius to plus 40 C. The box is designed to plug in 110-240V AC power outlets.

The set has been patented in Japan and the U.S. for its easy-to-assemble design, and has won RoHS approval. (KL)
