Ledlink Optics Inc., established in April 2008 in Taiwan, specializes in designing and manufacturing optics for the emerging solid state lighting companies such as Cree, Edison, Lumileds, Nichia, Osram, Samsung, Seoul and other light-emitting diode (LED) manufacturers.

Ledlink claims that its mission is to help customers optimize optics performance in creating solid state lighting products, and is confident that customers can find proper optical solutions at the company.

The company operates factories in Dongguan, Guangdong Province of China. With the integration of optical design, tooling, and in-house mass production, the company claims that it is able to offer customers just-in-time services to meet the rapidly shifting market demands. In only two years after its establishment, Ledlink has become one of the major global secondary optical solution providers.

Ledlink has developed different optical solutions, available with numerous beam-pattern options and sizes, for a wide array of applications, including commercial residential lighting, architectural lighting, stage lighting, high/low bay lighting, railway lighting, street lighting etc. It offers more than 100 types of standard optics, from single optics to 60-in-1 multi-cluster, available with different beam patterns based on different LED manufacturers' specifications.

In addition, more than 10 global patents for street-light optics have been applied, and the company is still endeavoring to develop new products that are more cost-efficient in terms of time and overall cost.

Ledlink provides optimized optical solutions to reduce the gap between the traditional and LED lighting sources, so that customers will not even feel the difference during the process in which LED lightings are replacing traditional lighting sources. With proper optical solutions, the company adds, most of the users who have adopted LED lighting fixtures will be satisfied with the quality of the light and pay about 30% less for their electricity bills.

There are 20 opticial engineers working at Ledlink and custom optical solution is available. A simulation report can be completed in only five working days, and the prototype can be sent to customers in another seven working days.
