CNC machining center, automatic lathe, semi-gantry portal-type machining center

Kamioka Corporation, founded by president Huang Kuo-shiung in 1965, is one of Taiwan’s most specialized manufacturers of high-value-added machine tools.

Kamioka adopts techniques derived from a Japanese firm specializing in electric-machinery integration to design and develop high-tier products. The firm has set up a research and development plant in Kobe of Japan and an office in the United States.

About 10 years ago, Kamioka began designing and commercializing CNC multi-tasking lathes, and vertical and horizontal machining centers. All the company’s machinery products have to pass through perennial development time and real examinations before they enter the production lines.

“Each Kamioka machine is subject to more than 200 quality assurance test, including the examination during parts machining, 100% ball bar tested, real cutting testing for 12 hours in a row, and at least 120 hours of actual running before shipment,” says Chad Huang, the company’s marketing director.

With own brand of ‘Kamioka,’ the company boasts it derives Japanese techniques and self-developed ones to fabricate high-tier machine tools. Over the past several years the company has expanded product lines to include such high-value-added products as CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC lathes, surface grinding machines, CNC turning centers, machinery accessories, etc. One of the innovative products recently developed by Kamioka is the LG-2500 series semi-gantry portal-type machining center.
