Since its inception over 20 years ago, Senlre Trading Co. Ltd. has been dedicated to manufacturing a variety of chairs, including office chairs, public chairs, reclining chairs, massage chairs, and chair parts, as well as dining room sets and sofa beds.

To diversify manufacturing risk, the company has established an R & D center in Taiwan and cooperated with some furniture manufacturers in both Taiwan and Thailand. "We work out product designs in Taiwan and send them to the satellite plants in Thailand for production, because Taiwan has pretty good designers and the manufacturing cost in Thailand is cheaper," explains Stephen Chen, general manager of the company.

"I am in charge of the R & D in Taiwan and often fly to Thailand to monitor the quality control of the products there. We now has five or six satellite plants in Thailand, which have long turned out chairs for us," Chen adds.

To maintain strength in the world market, Senlre has spared no efforts upgrading its R & D capability. "To meet the market demands, we keep rolling out new products yearly and most of our products have been patented in the United States, Japan and Taiwan," Chen says proudly. "Today we ship dozens of containers per month, mainly to Japan, the U.S., Africa and Southeast Asia. In the near future, we intend to explore the market in China. "

Recently the company has developed an office mesh chair, which features one-piece back mesh frame that can be easily moved in and out of the chair back. Besides, the height of the chair can be adjusted depending on the need of the user and its armrests are ergonomically designed to enable the user to conformably put his/her hands on them.

The company hopes to cooperate with more interested counterparts to jointly develop high-end products, and also welcomes any kind of orders. (JL)
