Fepotec Industrial Co., Ltd., established in 1996, is one of Taiwan's few manufacturers of spindles and tailstocks for a variety of high-precision, high-performance machine tools. In January 2009, the company moved production facility to a new factory of 14,400 square feet in plant space in Wujih Hsiang of Taichung County, central Taiwan.

Since its inception, the company has been focusing on the development of state-of-the-art spindles and tailstocks used in machine tools. "With our expertise and profession in the development of spindles and tailstocks, we have received good reputations both at home and abroad," says Allen Wen, president of the company.

At present, the company's product lines include lathe spindle, lathe tailstock, grinding machine spindle, machining center spindle and semi-conductor applications spindle. Recently, the company just introduced high-speed built-in spindle for the semi-conductor industry and high-speed spindle for the printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing sector.

Featuring high rigidity and accuracy, the company's spindle for machining center is suitable for the machines requesting spindle speed ranging from 6,000rpm to 12,000rpm. Custom design with unique specification is also acceptable.

Fepotec boasts its customer base includes such domestic large-sized manufacturers of machining centers as Leadwell CNC Machines Mfg. Corp. and Tatung-Okuma Co. The company says its products have to pass such strict tests as noise, rigidity, running, accuracy and dynamic balance.

The company says its major export outlets include the U.S., South Africa, mainland China and some highly industrialized nations of Western Europe. To further sales to the international marketplace, the company has been making spindles and tailstocks in compliance with the ISO standards.

Fepotec will take part in the 2009 Taipei International Machine Tool Show to display latest developed products at the B933 booth of the Taipei World Trade Center Hall I. (BS)
