Everox Industrial Co., Ltd., founded in March 2000 in Taichung County, central Taiwan, specializes in the manufacture of bed-type milling machines, heavy-duty bed-type CNC (computerized numerically controlled) milling machines, powerful flatbed CNC lathes, heavy-duty precision lathes, and vertical machining centers.

The computerized models currently account for about 60% of the company's total output, with conventional models making up the remainder. "Despite a young member in the line, our company fortunately has all its staff members own over 25 years of experience in machinery development and production," says Steven Yeh, president of the company.

The ISO9001-certified company now exports 80% of its total output under own brand of Everox. Most of its flatbed lathes go to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the U.S., while its bed-type milling machines are generally destined for Brazil, Germany, and Southeast Asia.

Everox says it can equip its automated milling machines and lathes with any kind of industrial CNC controllers. The company also provides personal computer-based models. "Our CNC milling machines are as accurate as the more expensive machining centers made by our competitors in industrialized countries," Yeh says. Everox's CNC milling machines are powered by servomotors, making them suitable for either heavy-cutting jobs or mold-making.

Recently the company just introduced two series of innovative products, including deep-hole drilling machine and floor-type lathes. The deep-hole drilling machine has the maximum drilling capacity of 200mm in diameter suitable for machining workpiece of 6,000mm in length. The floor-type lathe comes in three four types, one each features 230mm, 255mm, 360mm and 410mm in bore diameters. The company is now speeding up the development of large-sized CNC lathe featuring 230-410mm in bore diameter and 9,300mm in distance between centers.

The company is a frequent participant in international and regional machine tool shows. For instance, the company always takes part in the machine tool shows held in Taipei of Taiwan, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia, and Bangkok of Thailand. The company will showcase its latest machines at the 2009 Taipei International Machine Tool Show slated for March 2-7 at the Taipei World Trade Center. (BS)
