Clear Dawn Co. Ltd. was founded in 1982 mainly to handle the production of hardware. Since then, the company has grown and diversified into handling more complex hardware parts for mass transit vehicles as well as the designing and production of display solutions, mainly for the commercial and residential premises.

Together with Mr. David Lin, a machining engineer, Mr. Jerry Liao, with adverse experience in international trade and commercial handling, co-founded Cleardawn Co. Ltd. CDC started off with a small working office handling simple hardware production and since then, CDC has grown into owning 2 manufacturing factories in central Taiwan dealing in Industrial Metal Parts and Modern Display fixtures systems, mainly in quality finished stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, brass, bronze and special steels.

CDC is very particular with all products' consistent quality and strives to make sure they are able to meet with International Industrial standards like AISI, ASTM, DIN and JIS.

25years of hard work down the road, coupled with constant support from several well-known companies, quality employees, stringent quality control and cautious cost control, CDC has grown considerably.

With growth comes added levels to climb and in 2003, CDC managed to acquire certification for ISO 9001. As our management guideline, CDC focuses on humane management and having the appropriate education for all our employees. For our clients, CDC follows strictly to ISO 9001's Quality Management System and QMS 9001's Customer's Satisfaction, which will usually mean having a high quality product within a reasonable pricing range.

CDC's business mainly revolves around the production of OEM, ODM parts, sub-contracting orders and product designing. Our major markets include Taiwan, mainland China, Singapore, Hong Kong, North America, West Europe, Australia, New Zealand, India and the Middle East regions.

Therefore, with our leading-edge machineries, ample experiences, quality employees, ISO 9001's thriving spirit, CDC is able to take on sub-contract manufacturing in the face of rising competition worldwide.

In the recent years, CDC has won contracts in the supplying of parts to Taipei and Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit Systems, Singapore's Circle Line MRT system, South Korea's Yong-In MRT and several of London's Underground projects.

Although we have grown considerably over the last quarter of a century, CDC is still constantly looking to outgrow itself even more and therefore is able to provide a win-win situation for both our clients and ourselves.

Since Cleardawn's establishment in 1982, CDC has remained faithful to its root as a key supplier of industrial metal parts. Although CDC is not comparable in terms of size to players in the same trade, however, CDC is proud to be able to state that its products are able to sit on the same leveled shelf with all the other quality products.

CDC has set up strong capability by teaming up with the government-backed Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Metal Industries Research and Development Center as well as many dedicated manufacturers across the island.

CDC has begun offering design service since 1986, enabling it to supply OEM and ODM manufacturing en masse. "In terms of design service, our advantage is our team, which is composed of several talents, including one from Singapore. They all have on average 10 years of experience in industrial design," as how Mr. Jerry Liao told a reporter from the Design & Innovation in Taiwan magazine.

In terms of designing services, CDC primarily stresses offering solutions that help customers fix major problems related to their original designs instead of just aesthetics. CDC believes in having customers remember what we are capable of, instead of just a name. CDC core values will be innovation, cooperation and service.

This corporate motto is distilled into the company logo. Innovation means having to think, cooperation means having to work humbly with partners, and service means having to meet customers' requirements.

After 20-some years of diligent work and long-term support from several internationally known customers, the company has achieved considerable growth over past years and acquired ISO9001 certification in 2003.

With staff-friendly management, stringent cost control and sound staff training, the company has been able to upgrade quality, pare down production costs and adhere to ISO9001 and QMS9001 management principles, achieving the goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
