Secondary optics for LED lighting industry

"Design, tooling, and mass production integration is necessary to utilize secondary optics," says Telung Tang, general manger of Ledlink. As there is a big difference between traditional lighting and LED lighting source, using a high-efficiency secondary is one of the key factors to success. In order to control the quality and facilitate product development, professional optical design software, optical measure equipments, and advanced mould tooling facilitates have been installed. For example, one Japan RPM36000 5-axis CNC tooling centre and two wire cutting machines are installed recently.

With the strength of total integration, Ledlink can provide customised solution according to clients' demand. So far Ledlink has been recognised by several main LED manufacturers, such as Cree, Edison, Osram, and Seoul as their optical solution provider.

To help spawn the LED lighting industry development is the goal of Ledlink. It is necessary to shift traditional lighting to solid state lighting fixtures to save more energy for environmental protection.
