Zhejiang Zhongxing Shock Absorber Mfg. Co. (ZX Shock) is a veteran specialist in developing and manufacturing automotive shock absorbers. Established in 1988, the company has won ISO 9001:2000 and TS 16949:2002 certifications and has grown into one of the largest Chinese operators in its field.

ZX Shock supplies a very wide range of shock-absorber products including twin-tube shocks and struts, coil-over shocks, cartridges, cabin dampers, steering dampers, mono-tube shock absorbers, and remote-control adjustable shocks and struts.

The 2,500 models that fill the company's thick-enough catalogs cover almost the full range of Japanese and Korean car models, as well as most popular European and American makes. On average, the firm develops about 320 new shock absorber models per year.

ZX Shock claims that it has developed some of the most advanced technologies in the industry and applied them to some of the company's innovative products, including gas-charged, self-regulating absorbers and struts, as well as remote-control adjustable shocks and struts etc. They are pending patents for functionality.

In addition to supplying the domestic demand, ZX Shock's quality products are also shipped to numerous overseas customers in major markets such as South America, the United States, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, some countries in Asia, and major European countries like France, the U.K., Finland, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine etc.

Currently, products shipped on original equipment (OE) basis to automakers now account for about half of ZX Shock's production. The firm also anticipates its ZX SHOCK own-brand to grow rapidly and become a world-class player in a short period.

ZX Shock's stringent quality-control system, company officials stress, requires each shock absorber produced to be tested in-house by top-end, multi-speed hydraulic ergogram tester before it is packaged and shipped.

The firm also operates a very advanced laboratory, where there is one big physical and chemical lab for different inspections, and one R&D lab and engineering department for new-product development and prototyping, using imported Dyno testing bench from Germany.

All of ZX Shock's products are certified by the most stringent standards at various institutes, including the shock absorber inspection center of the China Automobile Quality Control & Inspection Institute, Provincial Technical Supervision & Inspection Academy, appraisal unit of the Shanghai Automobile Quality System etc. (QL)
