With a history of near two decades, Yison Interior Textiles Co., Ltd. is one of the few Taiwanese upholstery manufacturers still keeping operations in Taiwan. "To stay competitive in the market, we have been working very hard and kept upgrading manufacturing technologies and facilities," says Bill Jong, general manager of the company.

Yison's upholsteries are used mostly for making covers for sofas, chairs, and the surface of partitions. "Quality is the key to the success of a product. To guarantee the quality of our products, we strictly monitor every step of the manufacturing processes," Jong stresses. "Most of the raw materials of our upholstery are locally provided and some are imported."

To better control operating cost, Yison has spared no efforts in streamlining manufacturing processes and enhancing managing efficiency. Besides, it has been working hard to develop high-end multifunctional fabrics to meet the growing market demand in this sector.

Yishon's upholstery fabrics are available in various colors and patterns. Currently its monthly output is around 300,000 yards of upholstery fabrics, which are priced at US$3-25 per yard.
