Smart dimming solution

BJB Electric Taiwan Corp., an affiliate of lighting-electronics giant BJB of Germany, has been recently authorized by TridonicActo of Austria to promote a smart dimming solution dubbed as "corridorFunction", which is composed of an intelligent digital ballast and a sensor.

The ballast is either TridonicActo's PCA Excel one-for-all or its PCA ECOlp ballast. The sensor is a PIR type, which is widely used now.

Solution activates lights to the maximum intensity when it detects vehicles or people moving past. In 30 seconds after everything has passed, the illumination intensity automatically goes down to only 10% or complete zero depending on preset to minimize consumption of electricity.

The solution is an ideal lighting device for indoor parking lots or corridors in hotels, restaurants and hospitals. Also, it is available for all approved lighting equipment.

CorridorFunction solution automatically examines the lighting equipment connected to it and imposes its operation mode to the equipment, eliminating the need to rewire and re-program the lighting equipment.
