Benign Enterprise Co., Ltd., founded in 1976, is one of Taiwan's leading suppliers of precision machine tools. The company employs a strict quality-control system to secure supply of high-quality products.

With a history of over 30 years, the company is well noted for its own brand of "Bemato" in the international marketplace.

Jason Wu, general manager of Benign, says his company supplies not only precision machine tools and accessories but also components on the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) basis. To offer better services to foreign customers, the company also helps customers source appropriate products in Taiwan.

At present, the company's product lines can be divided into three categories, including machine tools, machine-tool accessories and air tools.

Major products in the machine-tool category are lathes, grinders, bandsaws, drilling machines, milling machines, and electric discharge machines. In the category of machine tool accessories, major products include precision tools for mills and vertical machining centers, tools for turning machines, tools for drilling machines, tools for grinding machines, precision tools and cutting tools, measuring tools and industrial supplies.

The company notes it would add some advanced machines to its product range to meet customers' special requirements in the years to come.

The company currently focuses on the European market, which absorbs 45% of its total exports. North America comes second with 30%, followed by Latin America with 13%, Australia and New Zealand with 7%, and Asia 5%.
